    FAQ's

1.“I forgot to give my membership number on my last trip - What can I do?"

MEA allows you up to 6-months retroactive claims for your MEA flights. You must mail us your original boarding pass(es) and used ticket(s) to Cedar Miles or via your local MEA sales office. Please refer to the back of your mileage statement / "Retro Credit" section for more detail.

2."My wife recently traveled on MEA - Can I get her miles on my account?

No. Miles may only be credited when the name on the ticket corresponds to the name of the member. However, your wife may apply to her own Cedar Miles membership and benefit from her flight mileage credit onto her individual account.

3."I have requested and issued my free ticket on MEA and would now like to change the dates of my travel - Can I do that?"

Yes, MEA allows you to make flight or date changes to your reward ticket but only if your free travel has not begun, and subject to availability of seats, a change fee, and certain other conditions.

4."How many more qualifying miles do I have to gain to be a Prestige or Elite member?"

The top part of your mileage statement, sent to members who travel MEA on regular basis, will easily show you how many more Q-miles or MEA flights you need to attain the next best level of Cedar Miles membership.

5."MEA does not fly to North America or the Far East, and I often travel to this part of the world. How can I still earn my Cedar miles?"

By traveling on MEA to Paris or Doha and then connecting onto our Cedar Miles partner Air France or Qatar Airways, you can still earn your miles all the way to North/South America, South Africa, Asia, and to many other destinations not currently served by MEA.

6.”Can I earn miles when using the Bank Audi-Cedar Miles credit card?”

Every time you use the Bank Audi-Cedar Miles credit card, you can earn miles, regardless of what you are buying. With the Gold card, for every dollar you spend, that’s one mile earned. On the Silver card, you earn a mile with every $1.50 . To help you out, there is a 3,000 miles bonus when you first get the card.

    8.“How are my Miles credited”?

You will only receive your miles if you or your travel agent quote your number at reservation and check-in. The system automatically credits your Miles after the flight has been completed. However, you should keep your original ticket(s) and boarding pass(es) so you can verify your mileage statements and be able to claim missing miles.

9.“Why is my account missing information”?

Information may be missing from your Mileage statement for one of two reasons:
    1. You forgot to declare your membership / quote your number. You will have to fill the retro credit form on the back of your statement and mail it along with your original boarding pass(es) and ticket. Missing information will appear on your next Mileage statement.
    2. Your flight was made just after your statement was printed. Your miles will therefore appear on your next Mileage statement.

10.“What to do if my Miles do not appear?”

Always keep your original documents i.e. Boarding Pass(es) and Ticket(s) and send them along with your identification number / copy of your card, no later than six months from the date of concerned transaction. Ticket(s) without corresponding boarding pass(es) or boarding pass(es) without corresponding original ticket(s) will not be accepted. You must send them within 6 months from the date of the missing flights.
